The Amani Line
Fairfax (K7DFX0247)
Chevredor's Amani Line was initiated with the purchase of Harfield Bestboer Fairfax. In his prime Fairfax had an outstanding show record which included:
Reserve Champion Buck – Perth Royal 2004Supreme Exhibit – Roma 2005
Reserve Australian National Champion Buck – 2005
Supreme Exhibit - Chinchilla 2006
Fairfax stood his last seaon in 2010. He has consistently imparted strong, broad shoulders and good body depth to all his progeny and Chevredor now has a large group of Fairfax daughters in our stud breeding herd. Several of his sons are now standing sires at Chevredor and other studs both in Australia and overseas.

Chevredor Devil's Gold (CHVFB0666 ET)
This chunky boy had plenty of luck when he was young, and it was all bad. Weighing 6.5kg at birth, he lost his recipient mum when he was only 2 weeks old. A very loyal son, he strongly resisted all efforts at being bottled raised. At three months he was way behind the other weaner bucks and was overlooked when the selections were done in spite of being very structurally correct. Left alone for 12 months in the buck paddock, he blossomed and has been gathered back into the stud paddock. His first crop of kids have just been weaned and show every sign of continuing this blood line at Chevredor.
Chevredor Golden Twist (CHVFB0631)
One of the "cross-over" bucks, Golden Twist also represents our Tarzan line through his mother, a Jo Dirt daughter and our Amani line through his father, Fairfax. Twister has grown into a massive young buck with a beautiful head and horn set and weight-for-age growth coming through from his mother combined with the strong shoulders and solid square stance of his father. Twister also has his first crop of kids on the ground now.
Chevredor Golden Galaxy (CHVFC0831)
Another "cross-over" buck, Golden Galaxy represents the Snake line through his mother and the Amani line through his father. He carries the best of both lines with a regal bearing that shows he knows how exceptional he is. Galaxy's first crop have just been weaned and already there are several stand outs that we will be keeping our eye on as they mature.
