I know from watching The Weather Channel that the US has been hit with incredible snowstorms, but around here it was pretty much winter as usual. Tom had a snow day but honestly there have been worse snows and school wasn't called off. As so often happens, the hype overcame the reality. In all we've gotten about six inches. We may get some more tonight or tomorrow, but honestly most every day if it isn't sunny, we get some snow. That's winter at Windy Poplars every year, and Mrs Bale says the prediction about this particular storm in our area was 'much ado about nothing.'
